Lawyer Yu Jiayue, a member of the team led by Zhang Hengtong, the founding partner of Dehehantong, holds a master's degree in law from Fudan University. As a lawyer with a dual background in economics and law and a passion for literature and history, she has never regarded interdisciplinary studies as a disadvantage in her practice. Entering a relatively unfamiliar business field, Lawyer Yu Jiayue, with a pioneering professional attitude, has established a highly goal-oriented learning path. During her internship, she participated in the "First Phase of Green Targeted Asset-Backed Notes Issuance of Shanghai Lianrui Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. in 2024" project. She was not constrained by her lack of experience. Instead, based on her existing economic knowledge, she was eager to learn and ask questions: consulting similar cases, seeking advice from senior lawyers, communicating with clients and securities firms, and then summarizing a set of methodologies suitable for herself.

Hard work pays off and efforts are never in vain. She aligned with the overall pace of the team and participated in everything from case filing to release. This case is one of the significant growth marks since it embarked on the legal journey and was selected for the LegalOne Merits Remarkable (outstanding) project rating in July 2025. As enterprising as she is, she is bound to encounter cases that she finds extremely difficult to handle. However, her personality trait of acting before her emotions leads her to a brighter future. It was a dispute over equity holding on behalf of others and a property management contract: The client was a shopping mall. After setting up a property management company, they did not sign a holding on behalf agreement, which led to a conflict between the two sides. She was responsible for organizing the evidence of property disputes where the client was the defendant. The materials were complex and time-consuming. Instead, she used high pressure and repeated practice to grasp the core in the complexity. After a meticulous review, she helped the team distill the key information to advance the project and smooth out the complete chain of evidence. After two trials, the team successfully represented the client in withdrawing the lawsuit. Moreover, the outcome of the case was in perfect alignment with the legal opinion of the team's senior lawyers. This made her deeply realize that to achieve her career ideal of becoming a specialized lawyer, merely relying on perseverance, tenacity, sensitivity and efficiency is far from enough. The road to the other shore is long and arduous, but she has already deeply felt the importance of steadily accumulating professional depth. Her first case after officially commencing practice was representing the company in handling a labor arbitration dispute. With a sincere heart that lived up to expectations, she transformed the search skills she had accumulated during her internship into practical keys to solving the crux of the case. She verified the rationality of the other party's demands amid a dense array of data comparisons and strengthened her defense confidence in the vast sea of regulations and similar cases. Ultimately, the wage income certificate she submitted calibrated the expected perception of the workers and facilitated an on-the-spot mediation. This is a brilliant start to her independent practice, leaving a clear mark of a growth-oriented and dedicated practitioner in the actual combat.

The ability to solve problems efficiently stems not only from one's professional knowledge background, the tenacity to persist in being pragmatic and the enterprising spirit, but also is closely related to one's love for reading.
