The spring breeze caresses the wrinkles of Taihu Lake, and time writes new marks in the blue waves. From February 22nd to 23rd, 2025, nearly four hundred people from Dehe traveled upstream to Huzhou. With the silence of the mountains and the surging of the rivers, they jointly composed a narrative about the 2025 annual meeting of Dehehantong - here, "seeing" is the torch that penetrates the paperwork, illuminating the warmth in the folds of human nature. The blue bricks of the ancient town have listened to the merchant journey of a thousand years, but today they give way to the steps of the people of Dehe: from the twinkling stars to the warm lights, from the data compass to the humanistic longitude and latitude, we measure the depth of the rule of law with rationality and interpret the significance of traveling together with poetry. As the new chapter of the Year of the Snake is unsealed in the misty rain of Jiangnan, the ship of Dehehantong is sailing towards the more distant mountains and seas with the anchor points of "diligence, craftsmanship and perfection".

PART/01 Opening Remarks

Lawyer Zhang Hengtong, founding partner of Dehehantong, delivered the opening speech. Break through self-limitations, take "the matter itself" as the orientation, keep learning and improving, enhance collaborative efficiency, adhere to long-termism, and constantly improve the ability to solve complex problems. Continue to strengthen the construction of family culture, implement the "Dehe Warmth" in every corner of operation and management, and build a new type of relationship between lawyers and law firms that transcends the spirit of contract. Second, see the future and move forward together. Learn and experience more, and be brave to do difficult but right things. In response to the deep-seated challenges and core issues that young lawyers are facing in today's era, Professor Lin has put forward three suggestions and reflections: The relationship between economic downturn and the legal service market; the dialectical relationship between economic fluctuations and dispute patterns, which are the realistic problems that the legal profession must confront. The transformation of lawyers' personal positioning: Shifting from traditional legal fields to new areas such as international trade and economy, foreign-related law, and the intersection of law and technology, involves both personal positioning and industry transformation. The challenges of new technologies to the legal profession: The substitutability of new technologies such as AI for legal practice, as well as the opportunities and challenges of technology empowering the legal field.

Professor Lin said that every era is the best of times and the worst of times. Dehehantong will continue to tell its own story well and set an example for the legal industry.
