(1) Capital Markets- Related Business(Litigation &Non-Litigation)

• Provided special legal services for investment and financing from angel round to pre-IPO round for a number of startup companies

• Provided a number of investment and financing legal services for a local government investment platform, with investment amounts ranging from tens of millions to hundreds of millions of yuan. Also provided special legal services for a number of investment exits, with exit amounts ranging from tens of millions to hundreds of millions of yuan, and the exit methods involved litigation and non-litigation approaches

• Represented the founder of a company in responding to the first-instance and second-instance of an investment valuation adjustment mechanism (VAM) dispute, with the case amount being approximately 100 million yuan

• Served as the person in charge of the liquidation team of a private equity fund, and implemented the exit of several investment projects through litigation and arbitration, with the total amount of successful claims reaching approximately 100 million yuan

• Represented an investor in the enforcement of a VAM dispute with the founder of the target company, with the case amount being approximately 20 million yuan

• Participated in an IPO project on the ChiNext Board and passed the on-site inspection by the stock exchange

(2) Regular Legal Services and Dispute Resolution for Corporate Clients

• Provided perennial legal advisory services and special legal services such as employee equity incentives, labor and personnel management, and business compliance for a number of listed companies, New Third Board-listed companies, and startups and growing enterprises. The clients served cover industries such as medical devices, industrial automation, and e-commerce

• Represented a project owner in a construction project to claim liability against a cost consulting institution. The case involved internal fraud, and successfully won the case through arbitration and recovered millions of yuan in losses

• Served as the person in charge of the bankruptcy administrator team, represented the bankrupt enterprise in filing several bankruptcy - derivative lawsuits involving the misappropriation of capital contributions, recovery of capital contributions, and collection of external claims, and recovered millions of yuan in relevant funds

(3) Dispute Resolution for Individual Clients

• Represented clients in a number of post-divorce property dispute cases and related cases, and helped clients secure a total of approximately 24 million yuan in economic benefits

• Represented a client in a complex and difficult private lending case, won a claim of approximately 6.5 million yuan, and completed the judicial detention of the person subject to enforcement through the enforcement procedure

Yu has been practicing law for seven years now. Previously, he practiced at leading law firms such as Deheng Shanghai Law Firm.

Yu graduated from Wuhan University with a Bachelor of Laws degree and has study experience in Japan.

Since July 2024, Yu has served as a member of the Bankruptcy - Derivative Litigation Business Committee of the Shanghai Bankruptcy Administrator Association.
