Lawyers from Dehehantong deeply participated in the "Anti-Monopoly Compliance in the Pharmaceutical Industry" seminar, jointly building a new ecosystem for the compliant development of the industry
Recently, the "Anti-Monopoly Compliance in the Pharmaceutical Industry" seminar, jointly organized by the Medical and Health Professional Committee of the Shanghai Bar Association and the Anti-Monopoly and Anti-Unfair Competition Professional Committee of the Shanghai Bar Association, was successfully held in the lecture hall of the Shanghai Bar Association. This seminar was hosted and featured a keynote speech by Wang Liwen, a member of the Medical and Health Professional Committee of the Shanghai Bar Association and a partner of Dehehantong Shanghai Law Office. Attendees included Captain Yao Jianxin of the 11th Enforcement Corps of the Shanghai Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, leaders from the legal departments of Shanghai wuxi Biologics Co., Ltd. and Deqi Medicine Co., LTD., as well as over 80 fellow lawyers. This seminar focuses on the legal issues of anti-monopoly compliance in the pharmaceutical industry, aiming to promote the healthy development of the pharmaceutical industry.
At the seminar, Yao Jianxin, the director of the 11th Detachment of the Enforcement Corps of the Shanghai Municipal Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, based on the "Anti-Monopoly Guidelines on the Pharmaceutical Field" issued by the Anti-Monopoly and Anti-Unfair Competition Committee of The State Council, proposed six characteristics of the pharmaceutical anti-monopoly field in light of the law enforcement practice in the pharmaceutical anti-monopoly field: Monopolistic behaviors continue to occur frequently, the types of behaviors are relatively concentrated, there are many cases in the field of original research drugs, cross-provincial law enforcement is relatively common, the resistance to law enforcement is relatively large, and the penalties are relatively severe.
Lawyer Wang Liwen, a partner of Dehehantong Shanghai Law Office, gave a presentation on the theme of "The Determination of Abuse of Dominant Market Position under the Anti-Monopoly Guidelines in the Pharmaceutical Field". Starting from the perspective of identifying the abuse of dominant market position, she expounded on the significance of anti-monopoly compliance in the pharmaceutical industry and proposed the necessity of strengthening the anti-monopoly compliance construction of pharmaceutical enterprises. Lawyer Wang Liwen, through sharing her rich practical experience in the field of anti-monopoly, has provided highly valuable references and guidance for pharmaceutical companies in the construction of anti-monopoly compliance. During this session, other invited guests also delivered professional and wonderful speeches respectively.

The two pharmaceutical company guests also exchanged their views and in-depth research on anti-monopoly issues during their work. Many lawyers on the spot actively asked questions, and the roundtable guests patiently answered them. The atmosphere on the spot was lively and active.
